How far in advance should I book overseas moving services?
For most overseas moves, book six to eight weeks ahead. For long-haul sea freight, plan eight to twelve weeks before you want your belongings to arrive, because sailings take 4 to 8 weeks to Canada and the USA and 6 to 12 weeks to Australia and New Zealand. European road moves take 6 to 12 days and can usually be arranged at shorter notice.
